Bronze for Ken Parr and Seonaid McIntosh in the 50m Prone Mixed Pairs at the European Championships in Bologna. Congratulations to both from the NSRA.
The World Masters was held in Suhl, Germany recently and Waldek Mickiewicz of the NSRA Senior Pistol squad took first place in the 10m Air Pistol in this inaugural event.
At the Cornwall Target Shooting Association Annual Dinner and Prize giving, the Secretary of Helston and District Rifle Club outlined how Helston’s Committee had nominated Mrs Susan Curnow for a NSRA Special Award. In 2019, Susan will have given 40 years of service to the Club and the Secretary said that members could think of no better way to recognise her dedication than to nominate her for an award.
At Wishaw and District Small Arms Club AGM in June, Donald Baxter stepped down as Club Secretary after 30 years. During those three decades of distinguished service, Donald has led the charge, growing Club membership, liaising with various associations and even being Club Champion for a number of years. For his dedicated and unselfish service to Wishaw and District Small Arms Club, Donald was presented with numerous gifts on the night including a letter of thanks from NSRA CEO Iain Root.
James has broken four new Welsh Shooting Records, achieved three new Personal Best’s and won all three events (Junior and Senior) which he entered in the 10m, 25m Sport and 25m Standard at the recent British Pistol Club Championships held at the Lord Roberts Centre, Bisley.
