Provided all competitors agree to their names and scores being published on the Appleton RC & NSRA’s websites the Great Britain Dewar Trial scores will appear if you click the following link: http://appletonrc.co.uk/frametop.htm
This will be the first time that the NSRA has streamed the live scores from this prestigious trial. The match results will not be published online until all the teams have shot the match as the scores need to be collated and published by the NSRA.
The trial is shot at Appleton Rifle Club in Cheshire and it is expected that 46 athletes will attend this year. The trialists are divided into 2 squads and the firing points are allocated on a random basis. The top ten athletes from each of the squads (A & B) will be selected for the GB Team.

The first item of business at the January workshops was for the participants to write down their perceptions of the NSRA, both good and bad. This was an interesting session, and as you might expect given the nature of perceptions, once explored and challenged, many of them were found to be untrue. Rather than allowing negative perceptions to continue, we have decided to dedicate an area of the website to addressing these aspects, and provide the truth rather than the myth.
Entry forms are now available to download for the following National Meetings:
