What follows is an update on the current position with Winter Competitions and Targets as of 14th November 2018.
We have found errors in the printing of NSRA targets and are taking steps to rectify them.
Initially, a fault was found on the 2510BM/89 (25 yard 10 bull) targets. However, having looked at other targets we supply, it came to our attention that there are more targets affected.
Please see below details for the NSRA / ELEY Competition 2019 and the entry form for the event.

Dear NSRA Club,
The Offensive Weapons Bill is to be debated on Monday 15th October 2018. The following amendment, which is the new Clause 3 and which had been unsuccessful in the previous debate, has been re-tabled.
The proposed amendment, if accepted, will eliminate the use of Section 11(4) exemption, which is in wide use by NSRA affiliated clubs and organisations, including Scouts and Cadets. Many affiliated clubs benefit from the use of Section 11(4) exemption certificates issued by the NSRA. Any amendment to this valuable legislation will have a significant impact on the management of affiliated clubs and groups.
OFFENSIVE WEAPONS BILL AMENDMENT - ACT NOW
Despite previous assurances the Government has now changed their mind and are proposing to proceed with a ban on rifles with a muzzle energy of more than 10,000 ft lbs (13,600J). This will effectively ban .50 calibre target rifles.
Those who participate in target shooting sports other than with the calibres under threat, must understand that the proposed ban is predicated on risk assessment and is not evidence based. If successful, this will set a dangerous precedent for all target shooting sports and in the future will reduce the requirement for evidence based changes to firearms legislation.
Lincolnshire Small-bore Rifle Association are running a Club Coach Course on Saturday 27th - Sunday 28th October 2018 at Brocklesby Village Hall, Lincolnshire.
See attached for further details:
For a limited period the NSRA is offering a chance to invest with a gross return of 2.75% above the Bank of England base rate (i.e. 3.50% including Bank of England base rate).
This opportunity to invest is in order to replace the withdrawal of a larger loan due to personal and private reasons with a number of smaller loans. It should be noted that the overall debt level of the NSRA will not be changed by this. These bonds are available to individual members, clubs and associations with a minimum investment of £1,000.
It is with regret that PAC have had to cancel the British Long Arm Pistol Championship due to take place on Sunday 23rd September due to insufficient entries. We wish to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Best wishes,Competitions Department
